Subject: 55th Reunion

To: Widows of the Class of 1953

I am assuming that you have received Bud's initial notice of the 55th reunion. If not, please let us know. The Reunion Committee has been hard at work planning and making arrangements for a wonderful and memorable 55th reunion. We are all hoping you can come.

For the fourth time, the class is paying for our hotel rooms; this is such a generous gesture, showing how much they want to include us in the celebration. Also, for the third time, we will have a widow and widower 's party on Sunday May 25, 2008, before the mixer-barbecue. This get-together was a great success at the previous reunions…as a kick-off for the festivities.

I am sure you know how blessed we are to be part of this special group---the Class of '53. If this will be your first time to come to the reunion as a widow, know that you will be welcomed with love and appreciation at your presence. So, follow the instructions for reserving your room at the Woodcliff Lake Hilton, and we will all look forward to seeing you. You ARE important to us. Come alone, with a relative, with a friend, with your children and/or grandchildren, with a new husband!
